Giraffe are not natve to Australia; nor are they found in the wild. Documentation on when the first giraffe arrived in Austalia for the purpose of display at zoos is patchy, as the first official zoo in Austrtalia, Melbourne Zoo, did not house giraffes until some time after 1900. The first Giraffe House was at Taronga Zoo in Sydney in 1923.
Absolutely Not. Only in zoos Giraffes live in Africa
No. The only giraffes found in Australia are those kept in zoos.
the giraffes were created when chuck Norris upercuted a horse
Giraffes are not native to Australia. They are native to open woodlands and wooded grasslands south of the Sahara desert, which is in Africa. Therefore, the only ones left in the country are those in zoos. The South Australian Monarto Zoo has the largest herd of giraffes of any of the zoos in Australia, whilst Dubbo Zoo has also been successful at breeding giraffes.
Giraffes make most appearances when in the Savannah of Australia, but their habitat is scientifically the great cloud of thunder, which they fly up to when in the need to practice their alphabet
That seems unlikely. Australia has many zoos, not a few of which contain giraffes but it is more likely that a country in southern Africa would have more because that is where giraffes are from. I would guess Kenya or Tanzania has the most.
