If you are asking whether there really was such an affair, it is widely believed that there was one: over the years, a number of tabloids and even a few credible reporters have surmised that the two were intimately involved. The problem is that if the affair really did occur, we lack conclusive proof beyond the various rumors. Keep in mind that it would have happened in a time when journalists kept the private lives of politicians secret. There was no internet, no 24 hour cable news, no smart-phones with cameras; and it was thus much easier for a politician to be indiscrete and get away with it. We do know John F. Kennedy, along with other powerful men of his era, did not remain faithful to his wife. But whether Marilyn was one of his lovers, or whether they just flirted with each other may never really be known for certain.
The exact time when these two Legends and Icons started to see each other is uncertain. some say they first meet, in 1951, long before JFK married Jackie in 1953. Some sources say that it was first in 1956. JFK had a crush on Marilyn, he was very attracted and fascinated by Marilyn (obviously), but he probably had a hard time reaching her. She was married to Arthur Miller that time.
It was first in 1961 they were supposedly to have meet and started an affair, after she divorced Arthur Miller. She became madly in love with him, a love that probably cost her life. She wanted him badly, but he couldn't divorce Jackie, since they had two children and it wouldn't suit him well if a president divorced his wife.
He suggested that they could be together as long as she wanted, but Marilyn didn't want that.
The story kind of ends here. What is true or what happened between them, is hard to say.You mean that it was very tragic ending because she screwed the brother too.
There is NO PROOF that they were ever together. It is all hearsay. Now if she was a go between with information from 2 sides of great power, then, foul play cannot be ruled out on her death. But it was not the Kennedys.
This what ppl wanted Americans to think. The same ppl that killed the Kennedys,King etc.. are the same ones responsible for MM death. Think about it. Then think again. Also read Steinem's book,Spoto's and her own. Plus read Breakfast at Tiffanys NOT the movie. Capote wanted MM to play Holly for a reason. The book is much darker but very much MM.
When bullies such as Kim Stanley ( albeit a great actress ) do a movie ( The Goddess ) depicting MM as a strumpet and owned, I have no respect for Stanley now. No different than some high school student bullying a classmate in front of everyone. MM was very dependant on drugs.alone and unloved and unfortunately it got to her, with some help I believe. DiMaggio was right, Hollywood killed her.
Marilyn Monroe had an affair with JFK.
JFK.
It is quite possible that John Kennedy an Marilyn Monroe did have an affair. But what I fail to understand is why did it have to wait till both died.
Kennedy was born in l9l7. Marilyn Monroe died in l962, therefore JFK was 45 years of age at the time of Marilyn"s death.
No, they did not. Marilyn was linked to men associated with the mafia, but that was merely because of her friendship with Frank Sinatra.

JFK would be 90
At the time of the alleged affair not many people knew about it. If authors and "sources" are to be trusted, those who knew, were close in the circle the Kennedy's and Monroe ran in - such as Pat Lawford, Frank Sinatra etc. and were kind but stern with Marilyn, telling her to keep quiet and stop contacting the preisdent. It was not until years afterward that the press really picked up the story of the "affair" and since then it has been blown out of proportion. In the reality of the situation, it is thought that JFK and Marilyn Monroe spent one weekend together, although they did meet at other social events. There is no evidence to suggest there affair was lengthy.
