The red eared slider have yellow stripes - see related link to Wikipedia for more info

Also, yellow bellied sliders, chicken turtle, map turtle, some musk and mud turtles, painted turtles all have some degree of yellow stripes on shell or head and neck area. Also, the Box turtle species, mainly terrestrial, have yellow markings as well.

It's probably a Red Eared Slider Turtle. But it also have to have red on the sides of it's head.

It may also be a Reeves turtle. They have longer tails and no red under their eares
