Your lactating dog should be eating during pregnancy and beyond a premium quality puppy food. My dog is four weeks post partum, and she is eating 18 cups of kibble per day, prior to me moistening it with water. It is best to add water to the kibble (hot water), let it cool down, and then feed it to her (the mother) warm. I do 6 cups of puppy kibble to 6 cups of hot water, cool it down a bit, and then hand feed her. Yes, it is a bit gross, but it also gives her extra liquid in her diet, which helps with lactation. As soon as you think your dog is pregnant, get her on the puppy food, until the pups have stopped nursing. Hope this helps.
The puppies will nurse from the mom.
you should feed her as normal but of she doesn't eat in a while and you are concerned phone your vet
ocelots feed off there mom
on you can not feed a eggplant to a dog
Generally the Mom-dog nurses the pups for 10-12 weeks. It will depend on when and how much other food is introduced to them from the owner, and again the breed itself and number of pups whelped.... not to mention the Mom-dog's attitude!
It is best to feed your dog when you wake up but only feed your dog treats but your dog has to earn there treats have your dog go outside and use the bathroom, then at 5pm you can feed your dog for its dinner these are the best times to feed your dog
feed you dog some treats or dog food in a bowl at your house
You optionally feed your dog at 7AM in the morning, and feed them at 11Am and at 3PM
Dog mom will do most of the work, the most important thing is to take mom water if shes not getting out of birthing box and food also she will take care of the babies herself if she does not feed them call your vet and ask him about puppy milk.
It depends on what you feed it, what the condition of the dog is, and how mean it actually is.
it actually doesn't matter where you feed a dog
