the predator of the Yangtze, known to habitate in Southern Africa and continental driftlands made by rainfall and erosion, is the Bareeo: a snake-like figure about 7 metres long and 10 cms wide. The Bareeo feeds on Yangtze, small birds and fish (the Bareeo lives on the edge of the river in rainforests). it often has to swim to get the big fish, like salmon, so it has 3 10cm long fins, 2 on the top, and one below, just by the tail that can be sucked in by the stomach muscles when on land. The Bareeo is exceedingly rare, with about 300 in 3 continents. (Southern Africa: 143, Madagascar: 112 Bangladesh: 86).

I hope that this helps.
