If you find a beige spider with black dots, you can simply observe it from a safe distance. Avoid touching or bothering it as some spiders can bite if they feel threatened. If the spider is indoors and causing concern, you can gently place a cup over it and carefully release it outside.
There is a spider called a Northern Green Jumping Spider, or Clown Spider (mopsus mormon), with a light green body and red spotted legs. You would most likely find one during the day in Australia. They have excellent vision and it wouldn't be likely for one not to see you sneaking up on it. These spiders actually vary in color. Some have red spots, but some do not. I couldn't find any other spider that matched your description.
