What is cclener?

I assume you mean CCLEANER (aka crap cleaner). From the website"CCleaner is a freeware system optimization, privacy and cleaning tool. It removes unused files from your system - allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history. Additionally it contains a fully featured registry cleaner." http://www.ccleaner.com/Theres not much to add really. It attempts to optimise your computer by removing temporary files and looking for unused or erroneous entries in the registration database on a Microsoft Windows operating system PC.Chris Neary Bsc hons FdSc

What does the command parallelput do?

The command, parallelput sends binary information to the parallel port on a PC. The command appears in a number of different computer programming languages such as C/C++ and Delphi but may have equivalents in other languages. It's worth noting that most modern PC clone computers don't have a parallel port anymore. On older machines it was used to drive the printer and was noticable by its large 25 way D connector and flat ribbon cable. The data lines of a parallel port are 8 bit (0-255) and labelled DB0 through DB7. In C the command is parallelput (value) where the value is the 8 bit binary value to be sent to the parallel (print) connector. Therefore the command in parallelput (3) would send the binary 00000011 to the parallel port which would in turn switch on DB0 and DB1 on the port. The parallel port is bidirectional and thus can receive information too using the parallelget command. Chris Neary Bsc hons FdSc

How do you fix corruped data?

You did not specify which medium the data is on so I'll go with hard drive data. First we need to clarify a misconception, you cannot 'fix' corrupted data. You can only attempt to recover the uncorrupted data within a file and restructure it so that the file is readable again. This point is important because the useability of the recovered data depends on what kind of data it was. If the data belongs to a picture, sound or some other media file, then these types of file are fault tolerant (You can put up with corrupted data in a picture depending on its severity), but corruption in data belonging to a program file is another matter. Program data is generally not fault tolerant, a single error in program data will generally result in the program failing. The cheapest method of doing this is to purchase one of the various data recovery programs available. It is possible to learn how to do this procedure manually using a disk editor but it's long and involved. (Memory formatted on or for PC's have the same protocol structure as hard drives so usually hard drive recovery programs will work on these and other forms of flash memory). Depending on what the data is worth you may consider sending the media to a professional recovery company, however this is usually a very expensive option, costing thousands with no guarantee that any data will be recovered. The most cost effective solution is not to get into the situation of loosing data in the first place. If the data is critical always make regular backups, consider investing in mirror RAID systems. The ENLISTED ranks to include all pay grades don't even touch what I made last year in pay. I also make more per year than any WARRANT officer ranks until they have hit the 20 year mark or so in pay seniority. So, my friend with the rank structure analogy above. NOT ALL IS WHAT IT SEEMS my friend. NOT ALL IS WHAT IT SEEMS ALL THE TIME.I'd suggest you do a little research on the Internet of what degrees really are. Consider earning a degree in a technical field. Maybe computer science or healthcare? These are currently in-demand and should help you find a job in the current economy. I'd suggest you read reviews discussing accreditation, student services, financial aid help etc.
