Absorption of Dietary water is done in the Large Intestine or Colon. Once the nutrients have been removed by the small intestine the slurry that is left passes on to the large intestine where the water is removed. Water is also reabsorbed in the Nephron of the kidney. The start of the nephron filters the blood and takes a lot of the water from the plasma as well as salty, glucose and urea. In a part of the nephron called the Loop of Henle much of the water is reabsorbed. Therefore, the best answer is the Colon/Large Intestine but also water re absorption occurs in the kidney.

The large intestine, specifically the colon, is responsible for absorbing water from the digestive waste material. This helps in forming solid feces and maintaining proper hydration levels in the body.

In descending order its the jejunum, ileum, and then the colon. There is a point of confusion in that because the large intestines main function is water absortion, many think that is where most water is absorbed. However this is not the case. The majority of water is in fact reabsorbed in the small intestine, the major of function of which is absortion of nutrients.
