She may have been Hittite, like her husband, or she may have been Hebrew, considering that she was living in Jerusalem.

Bath-sheba was possibly a granddaughter of Ahithophel. Ahithophel was a native of Giloh in the hills of Judah.

More than likely a Hittite. 2 Samuel 11:3 says: "and David sent someone to find out about her. The man said, 'Isn't that Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam and the wife of Uriah the Hittite?'" Since The Bible doesn't say anything about the nationality of Bathsheba, we can only assume she was a Hittite.
