Pneumonia can be caused by several different bacteria. A bacteria called Streptococcus Pneumoniae is responsible for around half of the cases. Some others hare Haemophilus Influenzae, Chlamydophila Pneumoniae, and Staphylococcus Aureus.

These aren't the only bacteria that can cause Pneumonia, but they are the most common.
