due to high insurance and the cost of owning a car many japanese
citizens drive 'kei' cars which are basicly city cars. kei( Mini)
trucks are also a common sighting for business users. Also many of
them drive domestic brands, foreign car brands are rare on japanese
roads.
The Japanese people drive Japanese engines Nissan, Honda,
Toyota.. you do not see many foreign cars like Ford, BMW, or Kia,
those cars are rare and considered worthless to them.. The Japanese
know cars and theirs is the best. Civic Si, type R, 370z, Gtr,
300gt, Skyline, Integra, K24 etc...
