One possiblilty would be the air intake hose, check the hose for any holes or leaks.

If you have a 4.3 vortec,Locate and open radiator drain plug into container. (apx 3 gallons) Remember antifreeze is posion!!! Remove radiator cap. Loosen intake hose clamp, Loosen the two wing nuts on the plastic part of the air intake atached to the top of the radiator and remove. Loosen the radiator clamps and remove the hoses from the radiator. Loosen the two transmission lines.(DO NOT BEND if possible) Remove the two bolted clamps on the top. Carefully lift straight up and out.When replacing, be carefull not to cross-thread the transmission lines.

Silly boy... buy the air hose repair kit - it is a Ford part - I think about $15 - the shocks have nothing to do with the rear air suspesion - you must have a leaking air line - fix it.

The antifreeze is not coming from your transaxle actually it is usually from your intake ,running down the trans case. This is a very common problem that 3.1,3.4 lt have is leaks at the intake.You have to replace your intake seals. But check under your throttle body ass. to make sure its the intake and not the heater hose connection that runs underthere.

It is an engine oil coolant hose. It runs to the oil cooler, which is a dual processing unit. Oil flows through one side, and antifreezeengine coolant flows through the other.. The hose you are talking about carried antifreeze to the cooler, and then to the engine. My car has a 4" long hose 1/4" ID in that location and it is a drain for coolant leaks in the heater core [like a tiny radiator].

Tighten the clamp on that hose. If it still leaks, remove the hose and inspect it. It may need replacing. Now if you are saying there is coolant leaking from the top hole on the water pump itself, replace the water pump, as it is defective.
