It is unlikely, as the Planet of the Apes can generally rise only once. There may be a sequel though; quite probably there will be.
In the late 1960's and early 1970's the movies of the original series were released in five installments.
Planet of the Apes, February 8, 1968
Beneath the Planet of the Apes, May 26, 1970
Escape from the Planet of the Apes, May 21, 1971
Conquest of the Planet of the Apes, June 29, 1972
Battle for the Planet of the Apes, June 15, 1973
Later it was followed by two short lived television series, Planet of the Apes that ran in fourteen episodes from September to December 1974, and the animated series Return to the Planet of the Apes that ran in thirteen episodes from September 1975 to September 1976.
The new movies do not directly coincide with the original series movies. While there are loose connections between Planet of the Apes (1968) and Planet of the Apes (2001), Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011) more closely coincides with Conquest of the Planet of the Apes (1972), but is obviously not a remake; the two barely share any elements of plot.
The making of a second movie to follow Tim Burton's 2001 venture ten years after the fact seems to indicate that there is intent to continue with a third and perhaps a fourth or fifth movie. From the juxtaposition of the chronology of the 2001 and 2011 movies, however, it would seem only likely that a third movie can be made, with a slim potential for a fourth.
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes released in Summer 2014. Previous to that was Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
