The Congo River has an estuary, an expanding tidal mouth.
The Congo River mouth is located in the country of the Republic of the Congo, near the city of Pointe-Noire. It is a major shipping route and one of the largest rivers in Africa, flowing into the Atlantic Ocean. The river plays a significant role in the region's economy and biodiversity.
The Kwango River doesn't have a mouth as such, it flows into the Kaisai River, and the Kasai River flows into the River Congo.
The end of the Congo River is its mouth that flows into the Atlantic Ocean. This is where the Congo ends its 4700 km (2920 mile) journey through Angola, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Gabon, Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, Tanzania and Zambia.
Zaire is no longer a country (since 1997). It is now called the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The Congo has one port on the eastern Atlantic, Matadi. Only a very small part of the Congo extends west to the eastern Atlantic ocean---at the mouth of the Congo River. Most of the country is landlocked.
