2. find out the strength and weekness inside the employee

3. to provide training or reward according the appraisal

4. for continious improvement , mentoring so that increased total output of an employee

Most corporations and even small companies have a Human Resources department which handles employee performance appraisals or evaluations. These are used to track the progress of an employee, to determine if and when that employee should get a raise, and as a training tool for that employee and newly hired people as well.
