Fn - especially calculator or laptop is the key that accesses the other functions of certain keys depending upon keyboard manufactry i.e. holding down the Fn key whilst using the F2, F3 etc keys will, on sony laptop adjust volume - written in blue as is the Fn key, holding down the shift +Fn key will give you the function of the other coloured keys.
FN is a function key and it's position really depends on the make of the keyboard. On my keyboard it's blue; therefore, any blue above a normal keyboard key will represent what will have if I press that key while holding down FN. This is generally used for things like controlling volume, using a NumPad on a smaller laptop, or launching a program (if the keyboard is fancy enough).
its because your keyboard has "456" there as well as the letters and the numbers are activated when using the fn key.

i think you have to adjust a setting on your keyboard. to type normally you have to hold down FN

The only break key I can find on my Dell Lattitude E6410 in on the external USB keyboard I plugged in. Previous answer- The break is a combination of CTRL FN F12 On my E6410 <CTRL> + <FN> + <F12> = <PAUSE>
