Little Red Riding Hood is given muffins by her mother to take to her grandmother's house. She is told NOT to go through the woods, as there are dangerous things there. However, when Red leaves, she decides to go through anyway, as it is a shortcut. Along the way, a wolf meets her and tries to trick her into thinking he's nice so he can eat her. She refuses to believe him, though, and runs away. The wolf tries once more, and fails yet again. Then, after two tries, the wolf runs to the grandmother's house and eats her. After disguising himself as the grandmother, Red gets to the house and is fooled by the wolf's disguise. When the wolf reveals himself and is about to eat Red, a passing woodsman comes in and saves the day by cutting the wolf's stomach open and rescuing the grandma. There are multiple variations to the story, though, but this one is more common.
