The difference between internal and external customers:

Internal customers are employees, suppliers, dispatchers, basically anyone who works or sells for the organisation.

External customers are people who walk in off the street or ring in, just consumers with no connection to the organization directly that want to purchase a product/service.

The main reason behind internal customers is it can cause a ripple affect on external customers (eg An employee not happy with his/her job will not be as pleasant with the external or other internal customers causing problems for customer satisfaction overall.

the staff who is working in particular company where the sale's are happening & if he purchase the particular goods & service then we consider him as an internal customer Example Person by name Xyz work in hyper market ( Retail ) outlet & he purchase some goods for his personal use then we call him as internal customer

External customer refer to person who come to us & purchase the good or service which he require where he is no way employed by the company

Example : person by name Xyz who is working in Hyper market who purchase the jewels over there he is consider as External customer
