ECG An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a test that records the electrical activity of the heart. ECG is used to measure the rate and regularity of heartbeats as well as the size and position of the chambers, the presence of any damage to the heart, and the effects of drugs or devices used to regulate the heart (such as a pacemaker). See also stress test and Holter monitor (24h). = Intensive-care unit = An intensive care unit (ICU), critical care unit (CCU), intensive therapy unit or intensive treatment unit (ITU) is a specialized department used in many countries' hospitals that provides intensive care medicine. Many hospitals also have designated intensive care areas for certain specialities of medicine, as dictated by the needs and available resources of each hospital. The naming is not rigidly standardized.

In order of education, Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse, Nurse Manager, Nurse Practitioner. A nurse working in ICU is an RN. ICU Nurses have specialized education and skills, but a new RN can work in an ICU.
An ECG or EKG is a recording of the electrical activity of the heart. An echocardiogram is an ultrasound recording of the heart and its blood flow.
pl all my friend explain icu and ics of mccb as there is so many confussion
the time between the two R waves in ECG
Both measure electrical activity -- the ECG in the heart and the EEG in the brain. An EEG is an electroencephalogram and an ECG also known as an EKG is an electrocardiogram. An EEG records brainwave/electrical activity. An ECG records the electrical activity that the heart produces.
To the best of my knowledge, the ICU is the Intensive Care Unit, which specializes in stabilizing patients in need of intensive care. However, there are two uses for the letters CCU. One can be the Coronary Care Unit, which specializes in the care of patients who have suffered heart attacks or have other cardiac conditions. Another can be the Critical Care Unit, which serves as a department similar to that of the ICU. Hope that helps! Best wishes.
ICU -- Intensive Care Unit
ICU Medical was created in 1984.
the ECG signal is traveling faster than the pressure recording wave.
CCU is a step better than ICU. Patient requires less attention but still more than in a regular unit.
