What is meant by Post-structural Feminism?
Post-structural or Postmodern Feminism is a more academic and
sometimes abstract view of feminism. It refutes the idea of a
"universal" woman's experience that is held by some branches of
feminism, and emphasizes the particulars of different women's
different experiences in specific cultural and historical contexts.
Postmodern/post-structural feminism holds the belief that there are
many "truths," but they change over time, from person to person,
and are dependent upon the culture in which they are expressed and
lived.
