A better question would be "what can't you take inside Disney World", and there's a section of the Disney World website devoted to answering that question. You can't take in large rolling suitcases or coolers and you can't take in selfie sticks. Other than that, if you could take it into a typical store, you can probably take it into Disney World.
No. Disney has banned selfie sticks at all Disney theme parks, including Walt Disney World. I'm sure they're not scanning the suitcases of guests to make sure that people don't have them in the hotels at Disney World, but as far as the parks are concerned ... no, they're not allowed.

Yes, the Walt Disney World Resort is open to all guests. A ticket is required for entrance to the theme parks, regardless of what hotel you've booked.
