5 panel drug tests only test for; THC, PCP, cocaine, amphetamine/Meth-amphetamine, and opiates. An opiate is a naturally occurring alkaloid of the opium poppy. The 5 panel test actually tests only for morphine but in reality it can detect; heroin, morphine, and codeine. Heroin and codeine quickly metabolized into morphine in the body. No other metabolites including those of; Hydrocodone, Oxycodone, or Fentanyl, can react to the test chemical.

Typically no, it cannot be detected in a 5 panel test. However they do make tests now that can test for Buprenorphine as well as other opiates.
