A valve that is installed in the main fire line serving a building to turn the water off that is flowing into a building in the event of a fire within a building. Most commonly found in the yard near the building and sometimes wall mounted on the building. The building is intended to shut the water off in the event of a fire and the building is not safe to enter to shut the water off at the sprinkler riser.

I have no idea what a power valve would do on a bicycle. Maybe this post belongs in the motorcycle category?
If the valve stem seals are bad the intake valves will "suck" oil into the cylinders. One common indicator of worn valve stem seals is to take your foot off the accelerator for several seconds when going downhill, then watch for smoke when you step on the accelerator again. If you see a puff of BLUISH smoke, you probably have bad valve stem seals. The catalytic converter can become oil fouled so that would be another indicator that you might have valve stem seal problems.

If you want to locate a new egr valve, check with your local auto parts store. If you want to know where the egr valve is located on your vehicle, post the year and engine size of your S10.
If the engine is an interference design then valve or head damage will occur. Replace the belt, check compression. If compression is bad then it's probably a good indicator that the engine has been damaged.
use a piece of modeling clay,( you can get any wal-mart craft section). place on top of the intake valve relief . place the head on the motor with a few bolts and with a week spring and your valve in place, compress the valve and measure the clearance with a dial indicator and this should tell you thickness of the head gasket you need.
The main parts of control valve are actuator, diaphragm casing, bonnet, yoke, stem, seat, travel indicator, positioner
The LONG end of the petcock valve is the indicator of the positioning of the valve. 6'oclock is MAIN 3'oclock is OFF 12'oclock is RESERVE
