I give my Teacher's gift cards to Publix. Most of them had kids so this was useful.Choclates are good to! Sometimes there are special outing of the chocolate that resemble a teacher thing like a apple. A Stationary kit is something they might like.
I really do not recommend candles or bath sets as teacher gifts. I'm a teacher and I must say that these types of gifts usually end up in my next yard sale and are not used, mainly because I'm allergic to MANY scents or chemicals used in these products. I suggest candy or cookies, especially homemade. Gift certificates are always appreciated, I got 3 small gift certificates to Wal-Mart last year ($5 & $10) and I was so thrilled! Even a $5 gift certificate is appreciated! I also enjoy getting anything we can use in the classroom - pencils, pens, post-it-notes, crayons, watercolors, markers, dry erase markers ect. Make a small gift basket with things like that in it!
I agree..as a teacher I have a closet full of Best Teacher, bath sets, candles and frames. While these are appreciated and loved...there are just only so many you can actually use! Gift certificates are SO appreciated....Walmart, Target, Michaels, Barnes & Noble....anywhere I spend on my CLASS which is what you know I will be spending my extra cash on!!
You don't have to spend a fortune to give a gift a teacher will adore. Something that can inspire teachers to become better teachers is a perfect gift idea. Last year i gave my maths teacher an inspiring book "Vision Revision: The Teachers' Master Key to Career Success". She really liked it because the book is primarily a teachers' guide to career management and retirement careers, yet it psychologically and subtly motivates its readers to become better teachers. You can check it at visionrevision.org
Well, there are several good gifts for a teacher:
1. Draw your teacher a beautiful picture and try using your teacher's favorite colors
2. Buy your teacher a card or a sound card. Or a pop-up card.
3. If you have a flower garden, or flowers growing outside or inside your house, that would be a great gift!
Hope this helped!
Starbucks gift cards are always popular if she likes coffee. If you know what her hobbies are, something for that. If she is a skier, a new hat or gloves. If you live in a cold climate, CuddleDudds. I just turned my mother-in-law on to them and she loves them. They are thin, silky long underwear that give you an extra layer of warmth. I have been wearing them for years.
A card and flowers are always appreciated. Its just nice to be remembered.
Valentine's Day is fun for everyone. Here are some gift ideas for your teacher:
The Best Gift of all for your Teacher - Voice Your Appreciation!
If you aren't comfortable buying a gift or just don't have the cash at that time, a simple note telling the teacher how much he / she means to you and your child is enough. Not good with words? You only need two: Thank you!
My mom is a teacher and some of the gifts she often gets are chocolates, picture frames with pictures of her with the student, gift cards to restaurants or stores like Target, plants, or mugs that say things like #1 Teacher. These are all great gifts because they vary from how personal they are. If as a student youre very close with your teacher then you can go toward the more personal one like the picture frame, but if you arenat that close then you can just get a simple gift card. None of them are too expensive, they are just the right price for this kind of gift.
There a plenty of gifts a teacher would appreciate. Gift cards are a great gift because you can personalize them. A gift card to a bookstore, the movies or a spa, will be a great way for the teacher to spend her summer. Another great gift is a bound book with students pictures. Students can personalize each page to make it extra special.
Many teachers would enjoy a personalized coffee mug that can be made at any local screen printing shop.
Sure. It's the thought that counts. Teachers are the backbone of our future, and giving them a gift will show that you recognize their dedication and hard work. A money clip with their initial engraved can be a great gift for a teacher, though it may be more attractive to a male teacher. You can find other kinds of engraved gifts for teachers on personalized gifts sites like .memorablegifts.com that will have a wide variety of gifts for both male and female teachers. Either way, your gift will definitely be well-received.
some good homemade gifts are ornaments that are painted and paper mache
You can find ideas for bulk teacher gifts at stores like Dollar Tree. If you go to the store and find items you like, an associate can help you order a mass amount through their website. Places like Oriental Trading Company, who are also available online, offer a lot of different ideas for teacher gifts and at low prices.
Ask your teacher what (s)he wants, and do that.
A Good Teacher: When a Teacher is OK. A Great Teacher: You really like that Teacher, you have had him / her before.
A good gift is a gift that someone loves. If you give a gift to someone and he/she appreciates it, then it is a good gift. Good gifts are also gifts that give meaning in a nice way. Bad gifts give rude meanings. Bad gifts surprise people and people seem irritated and feel uneasy with a bad gift. Gifts are given to be good gifts. Bad gifts are simply thrown away and never kept as part of people's lives.

Cookware is a good gift. Also some good cooking books and magazines are good gifts.
Some common gifts for teachers include gift cards, school supplies, books, personalized items like mugs or stationary, and plants or flowers. It's always a nice touch to include a heartfelt note expressing gratitude for their hard work and dedication.
