"allshare" is a interface to share media between Samsung electronics. By using a wireless network enabled devices can share digital information For example an "allshare" enabled phone can be accessed to watch digital content or listen to Music on an" allshare" enabled HDTV. Inthis same situation one HDTV can access web content from the same allshare enabled phone like watching utube through the phones 3g data service. other services include using the phone as a remote control watching movies from computers and hd devices that are on the network.
It appears the only compatible devices with AllShare are solely by Samsung.
Samsung utilizes both their proprietary service (AllShare), and you can also opt for Google's cloud services (Drive, Photos, etc.).
Looks like I'm answering my own question myself within a minute from posting the question. Samsung products have Allshare, which allows streaming of stuff through Samsung products which is a benefit.
Introducing the newest generation in television viewing, the Samsung LED TV Series 6 boasts 1080p, wide color enhancer and is Energy Star Compliant. It is web apps enabled and Allshare allows sync media with multiple devices. This means the consumer can do far more than just watch television and movies. This TV can double as a computer monitor, presentation screen and much more. It is suitable for residential, business, RV's and anywhere the best TV is required.
Yes and No. I am able to do this because i have a samsung LED tv with SWL (samsung wireless link) so i can stream using Allshare. You can do this on SOME sony bravias but only a few. So unless you have a samsung tv or one of the rare bravias you can't stream directly to your tv. P.S some Blu-rays do using BD live (check manual first) Wireless network required
