Dental insurance would possibly cover a part of braces. Dental insurance sold on a group basis has different plans and only the most costly plan covers orthondonture and even then it only covers a portion of it with a dollar amount cap of $1000-$2000 depending on the plan itself. I don't know of any individual dental plan that covers braces. As a matter of full disclosure, I own and operate a smalltown Independent Insurance Agency in Central Georgia and have for 23 years. I also worked as an agent for a direct writer for 3 years prior to that.
depends on the dentist and how many braces you are getting
Yes, they do cover braces. However, not all types of braces.
Dental insurance and Medicade will cover braces.
no
Yes
Medical insurance does not cover invisalign braces. These aren't considered necessary and regular braces are a lot cheaper if they were covered.
yes they do. they only cover braces if your dentist says it is medically necessary.
No they do not. It's stupid I know . I need braces &' Care source does not cover it. I have a sever over bite my dentist avised me to get braces but he looked at my insurance and said wait nevermind they don't cover it. My pain could be solved by braces but yet they say no. So I am saving up to about 4,000$ so I can help my body and get ride of the pain.
yep
It depends on the insurance company, how much they cover, and the company that is willing to fix it.
A dentist will not apply braces if you have cavities.
ask at the insurance place
