That piece has been recalled just take it into your Mazda dealership and they will replace the recalled piece. I had the same issue

If the car is recalled they are not allowed to sell it so it would not affect the pricing at all. A recall means they are re - calling everyone who bought the item to bring in in for inspection and service but they are not going to sell a defective car.
