During World War II, Bletchley Park was the location of the United Kingdom's main codebreaking establishment. Bletchley Park was a top secret code breaking facility during World War II. The people working there were top mathematicians and computer pioneers who were able to break the 'unbreakable' German Enigma Code thereby shortening the war and saving many lives. Because of the total secrecy at the facility, most of the early computers which were developed there were destroyed at the end of the war including the Enigma code breaker.
