Grade boundaries are specified by individual universities, but what GCSE subjects you chose is a different matter.
While a lot of univeristies do not specific what subject a canditate needs, it is always good practice to bring with you a portfolio of drawings/design. In this case, a GCSE in Art or Technology is good to have. Maths and Science should be compulsory subjects at GCSE and you should aim for top marks! c-a in both
If you enjoy those subjects then by the time you get to A-levels, an A-level in one or both of those subjects will benefit you a lot. no u have the same charnce
I did Art, Technology and History as my option GCSEs and for A-level I picked Art, Maths and Physics. Now after studying Architecture at university, I am an Architect. and I love it.

a better thing to do is to seek a university in archtecture and see what they advise ya hytttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt Yes i have heard the same my cousin is currently studying architecture and took maths, physics and art for AS but she thinks she has been poorly advised and thinks that one either Maths or Physics would of been better and easier. Hope this helps =)
For architecture, GCSEs don't matter, but if you have the option, do the Triple Award for science and art. But it's A-levels that really matter, and for your A-level options you'll HAVE to do maths, physics and art is highly recommended. You need to do well at GCSE in maths, physics and art in order to take it for A-level otherwise you'll struggle. Work hard for your GCSEs and you'll be somewhat prepared for your A-levels.
