Humans are primarily made up of oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, and nitrogen, which make up about 99% of the body's mass. Other elements found in smaller amounts include calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur, sodium, and magnesium. These elements combine to form proteins, fats, carbohydrates, and other important molecules in the human body.
