It instructs the web browser to load the user's default page(s).
I usually push the X to stop loading and then if I still want to see the page the circular arrow to "Reload this page"

The Refresh button 'Refreshes' a page.It dumps the page it loaded and then loads it again.
The button is the preview button. It is located in the toolbar up the top and it looks like a magnifying glass. When you click it you may be prompted to save the webpage you have been working on and when you save you can see your webpage in a web browser.

There should be a Little 'X' somewhere in your Web Browser to stop loading a page.
The pack page can be easily seen in the Web browsers. It can be done by the back button on the left of URL tab.
