They wore white robes, pointy hats, and they did this because they wanted to show that's whites were better than blacks by wearing the white. Also the white symbolized Christianity. They were very religious.

The KKK is a cult and not a religion although they would like you to believe otherwise. Some monks do wear cloaks with the pointed hoods lowered over their faces, but nothing like the KKK covering their faces with holes for their eyes and a flap for their mouths. If you believe in what you are doing and you don't have anything to hide then there is no reason to hide behind a costume such as the KKK. The modern KKK works in a different manor now and only wear their sheets (the leader is in red) at private meetings.
One key factor that stopped Wegener from fully proving his theory of continental drift was the lack of a plausible mechanism to explain how continents could move. Additionally, Wegener faced resistance from the scientific community who were skeptical of his ideas based on the limited evidence he presented at the time. Lastly, the technological advancements necessary to provide compelling evidence for his theory, such as satellite mapping and deep-sea drilling, were not available during Wegener's time.
KKK members wore white sheets and masks to hide their identity.

They don't. they wear the MIOK, or the Mystic Insignia Of a Klansman. It's either a white cross or white satire on a red circle.
There was no cardinal of the KKK.
None that I know of. The closest might be a Cisterian monk, who wears all white robes, Dominicans wear a white habit with a white shoulder cape.
