A vascular surgeon handles the mechanical aspects (surgery and many less invasive procedures). They can monitor/ follow the case and help decide when interventions are necessary. If they are seeing a patient to monitor an aneurysm vascular surgeons will often also manage other risk factors by doing things like prescribing some blood pressure and cholesterol medications. If it is clear no interventions are needed the vascular surgeon will usually refer the patient to a non-surgeon medical doctor.

The purely medical management (as in blood pressure control, cholesterol control and decisions about anticoagulants) can usually be handled by a primary care doctor. Sometimes, depending on the primary care doctor a specialist such as a cardiologist or neurologist (if it is in the head) may be consulted.

What did the doctor say was wrong with jem?

Jem broke his elbow and suffered from a concussion.

If you got a concussion 3 days ago and you are supposed to be feeling better but you are feeling worse what should you do?

YOU SHOULD SEE A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY THERE COULD BE ANOTHER PROBLEM OR IT COULD OF BEEN JUST A HARD HIT AND IT STILL HURTS. SEE A DOCTOR JUST IN CASE OF ANOTHER PROBLEM. Go to your primary Doctor or better the ER. Sounds like you had suffered a concusion(when you hit your head really hard and you get dizziness...) Most of the time we can't tell how bad is it; but if still hurts if better to go to have at least a ct -scan and expl.ained everything and how it happened. But honestly ;Go to a doctor. Good Luck!!!

Should I go to the doctor for pain in my groin area from lifting weights?

If the pain persists, you should definitely visit the doctor. The 'inguinal hernia', which causes groin pain, is the most frequent type and it is thus possible that you suffered one whilst exercising. The doctor will be able to use an ultrasound scan to determine if there is a hernia. Surgery may be involved to remove the hernia, to avoid further complications.
