The words Junior and Senior have two different applications.
When used as a suffix on a person's nameNothing comes after "Junior." "Junior" and "Senior" are a related pair describing a father and son, uncle and nephew, etc.
Relatives with the same name may also be numbered, as James Smith I, James Smith II, James Smith III, etc. This is a separate, overlapping system.
James Smith IV may also be James Smith, Jr., if Smith III is living but Smith II and Smith I are not.
When used to name classes in schoolThe four classes in a high school or college are named, in order from youngest (most recently joining the school) to oldest (first in line to graduate)Wiki User
