Again a question of best. Best at what? Horsepower, torque, mileage, dependability, what. I agree with the above answer when it comes to pure power for your buck. Hard to beat the small block Chevy. But when it comes to dependability and an engine that has good power and delivers great mileage then there are lots of great engines out there. It would be hard to name the best.
