What can you not do in a mosque?

• statues of whatsoever
• tables for drinks or wines
• people moving with their shoes on and without covers
• Muslim women without wearing hijab or dressed in illicit clothing

There are many things that you would not find in a mosque, an official Muslim place of worship.

Just as there are things that you would not expect to find in any other place of worship. Weapons of mass destruction for instance. Nor would you expect to find texts of other religions on display.

Islam, as with most religions has prohibitions, which are called 'haram', which can mean forbidden or sacred, depending on the context.

Certain foods and practices are 'haram' for instance and these would not be found.
