i am not sure of any medicine, but i do know that you are not supposed to feed them any food that would be sensitive on theirs stomachs (such as any human food). You should probably take your dog to the vet, then they can give you the right medicine.

A guinea pig should be taken to a vet immediately if it has a UTI. The vet will give the guinea pig anti biotics and anything else that is needed. While the guinea pig is recovering it should have a constant supply of fresh water and should be checked for recovery daily. If bleeding or pain continues contact your vet for more information. Cranberries can also be given to help recovery.

Can urinary tract infections cause women to give a STD to a man?

To answer the question is somewhat difficult being that these two illnesses are completely different. One is a urinary tract infection which is caused by a bacteria getting into the urinary system and has nothing to do with an STD (sexually transmitted disease). So to answer your question I will offer three different answers. 1) No, urinary tract infections are not contagious and are very common in women. 2) No, a urinary tract infection can not cause an STD. 3) One must have an STD in order to give another an STD; which again has nothing to do with a urinary tract infection. Anyone can get a urinary tract infection and it has nothing to do with intercourse; even animals can get these infections. Hope this helps and take care, Jupiter's Dawn

If you have blood in your urine do you have a urinary tract infection?

Not necessarily. Blood in urine is a symptom of urinary tract infection, however, it also can be caused by other diseases. Whatever the cause, you need to see your physician so they can diagnose the cause and give you the appropriate treatment. Urinary tract infection can be treated with antibiotics or herbal medicine called Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill.

Can you give a cat Bactrim for Urinary tract infection?

To accurately diagnose a urinary tract infection, your cat will need to visit the Vet. The Vet will help you determine the appropriate course of treatment, if necessary. Giving an animal medications without knowing with certainty what is causing the symptoms you're seeing can mask some symptoms and, in the long run, worsen the animal's condition.

How much norocillin can you give your puppy for a urine infection?

None - norocillin is a penicillin-class antibiotic formulated as an injectable medication. Without confirming your puppy has a urinary tract infection, and without knowing what bacteria are causing this infection, giving a random antibiotic could make your puppy very sick. In general, puppies don't get urinary tract infections; those that do often have congenital malformations of the perineal (under the tail) area that need to be corrected surgically to prevent recurrent UTIs. However, for UTIs that do happen, the most common bacteria are Gram negative intestinal flora such as E. coli. These bacteria are generally not susceptible to penicillin-class drugs.
