r3 on a ps2 remote is simply the the right toggle stick pushed into the remote until it clicks and the left toggle stick clicked down is l3

its just pressing down on the right joystick till it clicks, same as L3 just on the left joystick instead

There is no such thing as an R4 button on a PS3 controller. R1 and R2 are the two trigger buttons. R3 is pushing the right analog stick in.
