What are the buffet disadvatages?

Well i know that there are a wide variety of foods put out in a buffet service. there is bound to be something you like.

i prefer it when there is a buffet service because you can take as much or as little as you want.

1. Keeping the food cold enough or hot enough to maintain safe temperatures is difficult and requires the right equipment.

2. People serving themselves means you can't control portion size and predicting how much of any type of food you'll need to prepare is difficult.

3. People serving themselves often leads to a mess on the buffet line and possible dirty hands in the food.

4. Food that sits on a buffet table, even when the proper temperature is maintained, get dried out and starts to taste stale.
