The union mission mentioned in Larry Gatlin's song "Midnight Choir" is located at 639 Lafayette St., Nashville, TN. in an old Sears building. In the song Larry Gatlin credits the location near 4th & DeMungus(spelling?). The location now is near 7th and Lafayette. I love Larry and The brothers and have seen them live several times. I was lucky to see them perform Midnight Choir since they no longer include it in their live show. One time I saw them live and Larry introduced the song Midnight Choir and said it was on the corner of walk and don't walk, Nashville TN.

That is not an Alllman Brothers song. It is a Marshall Tucker Band song.
