"Herpetaphobia" is a fear of reptiles, but more accurately kinds of snakes and lizards. The actual name for a fear of lizards is "Scoliodentosaurosophobia". I had to stay up almost all night to find that term for a school paper. I've have had this phobia since i was four. It usually results from a traumatic experience in life involving lizards. I got it from the movie The Parent Trap (I know crazy ,right) when my mom and aunt played the lizard scene in it over and over again. To this day i will (and have) attack anyone who comes near me with a lizard.

stay away from it, or pretend that you're not scared of it. If you are scared, the dog can sense it and will probably bite you
Lizards and dogs.Another answerNo, dogs are not colored blind.
Yes. Sometimes they relieve their bowels too.
Dogs and cats have different responses to fear and pleasure. When dogs are happy they wag their tails. Cats purr when they are happy. When dogs are scared they growl. Cats also growl when they are scared.
Yes, some lizards can voluntarily detach their tails as a defense mechanism when they are threatened or scared. This behavior is called autotomy. The detached tail will continue to wiggle, distracting the predator while the lizard escapes. The tail will eventually regenerate, though the new one may look slightly different.
