It depends on how large both animals are. Reticulated pythons rarely get over 7m, and a tiger could easily kill one of those. But if a python did get over 10m it would be quite a fight. But the Tiger would come out the victor
While the tiger may win more often than not, there have been many occasions where the tiger has been killed and ended up in the retic's belly.
Retics are much more defensive than other constrictors in the wild.
A 7m retic could EASILY kill a tiger. They can generate 100 PSI of constrictive force.
It all depends if the retic gets a good bite on the tiger so it can start throwing coils.
The tiger's agility is what gives it the upper hand, as they can Dodge the strikes and wear down the snake.

Tiger loses, thanks for playing!
Reticulated are the largest(not heaviest) snakes in the world. They can grow up to and over 30 feet long. But it normally grows 10-20 feet long.It eats rats, rodents, lizards, crocodiles etc.And at the other side the King Cobra ,the largest venomous snake in the world. It can grow up to 18 feet long. But has an average length of 13 feet.It eats lizards, rats, snakes like rat snakes, mangrove snakes,red-tailed racers, keel backs, even sizable pythons. So it will be a tough fight. At first we will take these two snakes of their average size. So,we will take a 20 feet long Reticulated Python and a 13 feet long King Cobra. If the python strikes first and start constricting whole then without any doubt it will kill the King cobra. But if the King Cobra have got enough time to inject the venom while the python tries to constrict it then it has a chance of killing the python. But the coils of the python will surely kill the king cobra if it constricts the king cobra for 10-20 minutes. Then the King Cobra could not do anything. But if in time before the python completes its constricting then cobra have enough time to inject the venom and after it injects its venom then it can kill the python. But in my opinion the python will win because it strikes faster than the cobra and once it completely constricts the cobra then even if the cobra injects the venom then it will take time to kill the python and that time will not be enough. So in my opinion Reticulated Python=60% King Cobra = 40%.SO,the winner is Reticulated Python but i am not sure that the python will eat the King Cobra or not.The Reticulated Python or other large pythons are the only snakes which can kill a King Cobra but not sure whether they will eat the King Cobra or not.
Partialy yes because if the python is smaller than the King Cobra then the King cobra will win. Otherwise python is stronger than King Cobra
1. Reticulated python 2. Scrub python 3. Green anaconda 4. African rock python 5. Burmese python 6. King cobra 7. Boa constrictor 8. Black-tailed python 9. Keeled rat snake 10. Tiger rat snake I'm sure there's lots of room for dispute on the bottom half of that list.
StanfillI think a python or anaconda
Depends on your definition of "largest." The heaviest snake is the Green Anaconda or Eurectes Murinus of South America. The longest snake is the Reticulated Python or Python Reticulatus of Indo-China/Indonesia.
It depends on the species of python. Most are not. Howevere some of thelarger species such as the reticulated python or the Burmese python are longer.
1.Reticulated Python - Max.length = 49 ft2.Green Anaconda - Max.length = 27 ft3.Scrub Python - Max.length = 26 ft4.Amethystine Python - Max.length = 26 ft5.African Rock Python - Max.length = 25 ft6.Burmese Python - Max.length = 20 ft7.King Cobra - Max.length = 19 ft8.Black Mamba - Max.length = 16 ft9.Yellow Anaconda - Max.length = 15 ft10.Boa Constrictor - Max.length = 13 ft
a python can go up to 33 ft while an anaconda can go up to at least 25-30 so probably the python is longer than anaconda
cobra mamba viper rattlesnake boa anaconda python coral snake
Adult pythons are much bigger than adult cobras. Edit: It depends completely upon species. Some species of pythons such as the Australian Antaresia spp. (spotteds, stimsons, childrens and pygmy pythons) average around 1-1.5m! On the other hand, the largest cobra is the king cobra, known to reach lengths of 15ft. The longest python is the reticulated python, believed to reach lengths of 30ft!
the reticulated python
it will be a python because its can grow up to 21 feet long and its super venomous
anaconda
