When the car stalls while driving, it will restart and drive for a while then stall again and so on. This is usually the cause of a bad sensor, but first change the fuel filter. It's cheaper and easier, if you still have problems the fuel pump needs to be replaced. Chances are you will have a full tank of gas. Also if you live on a dirt road or drive on a dirt roar a lot your fuel pump will lose the little rubber feet that sets it off the bottom of the fuel tank. This will restrict the flow of fuel to the engine and cause starting problems. When this happens starting fluid will get the engine started and you may be OK until the next time you try to start it. The sooner you change the fuel pump the better. Chances are you also have a full tank of gas. When this happens you can get the little rubber feet out of the gas tank and epoxy them back to the fuel pump and replace the sock filter and you are good to go. Well for the next six to eight week when the sensor or fuel pump really goes out. Chances your fuel tank will be full, then you will have to replace it anyway so it's best to change it in the first place. In the good old days when a fuel pump went out it when out and you go no where it won't even start on matter what. Well not in this car, Now how is that for advance technology. I live on a dirt road and I have changed six of these usually about a week or two after the warranty runs out. And no I never fill the gas tank any more. As for after market fuel pumps the Spectra has lasted the longest, going on two years. They have bigger and heaver duity feet and have not come off yet. I think the sensor problem has been up graded since the older models so you should not have to replace this pump as often as I have. Good Luck
