During photosynthesis, the energy from sunlight is used to split the water molecule itself into hydrogen and oxygen. The oxygen is released to the atmosphere and the hydrogen is bonded to the carbon dioxide molecule to make a carbohydrate--glucose at first.

Carbohydrates are, as the name states, carbon and hydrate or OH. So CO2 plus hydrogen gives carbohydrate.

Photosynthesis uses the energy of sunlight to convert H2O and CO2 into oxygen and high-energy sugars.

OR

Sunlight + H2O + CO2 = O2 and High-Energy Sugars

Carbon dioxide and water are converted into oxygen and sometimes rain and snow.

OK, so forget the rain and snow deal. the oxygen is right but it's also either sugar, glucose, or carbohydrates.

What can make food from sunlight water and carbon dioxide?

Plants use the process of photosynthesis to make food from sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide. During photosynthesis, plants capture energy from sunlight and convert it into chemical energy in the form of glucose, which serves as their food source.

On photosynthesis what two things do plants use with sunlight to make food?

Plants use carbon dioxide and water along with sunlight during photosynthesis to produce glucose (food) and oxygen.

Is chloroplast the sunlight?

no ... but it traps sunlight in it including sugars an water to make food for the plant which that process is called photosynthesis.

Green plants need sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide to make food through the process of photosynthesis. They use the energy from sunlight to convert water and carbon dioxide into glucose and oxygen.

What are the three things chloroplasts need to make food?

Chloroplasts need sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide to carry out photosynthesis and produce food in the form of glucose.

Why do some plants photosynthesis?

They photosynthesis to make their own food as they cannot move to find their own food. They need sufficient sunlight, water, minerals, oxygen, carbon dioxide and soil to make food.
