Since poodles are so skinny they have very weak bones so they can be easilly broken by jumping off of something. I have a 1 and a half year old miniature poodle and when he was six months old he had some kind of heart problem. I found out that poodles can carry desieases without even getting sick and then spread it their puppies. What happened is, a valve going to his heart had a hole in it and the blood was falling out of the valve. This may not happen to your poodle but before you breed your two poodles, get them both checked really well so that this doesn't happen to your dog. (P.S. My pupy survived. we took him to U.C. DAVIS and he had surgery. Now he is a healthy, energentic poodle. I recemend U.C. DAVIS if your dog ever gets really sick!) Hope this helped!
