Jimmy Tuff was the rodeo name for Norman Henry Price, born in Canada in the late 1890's. He was a furrier for the Canadian Army, then immigrated to the USA, and eventually settled in Cody, Wyoming. He was a cowboy's cowboy. He worked on various ranches in the Cody area, cowboying and then guiding big game hunting trips into the Yellowstone country and eventually bought a ranch on the Northfork on the Shoshone River, on which he raised Registered Hereford cattle. He was married to Elsie Strauss, they had seven children. He was one of the founders of the nightly rodeo in Cody, and known for his ability with horses.

Bose Ikard was an African-American cowboy. He was born in the 1840s and died in 1929. He grew up in Texas and worked on various cattle drives. After the Civil War, he worked as a tracker and a banker. He oftentimes had thousands of dollars on him until it could be deposited in an actual bank.
