sometimes, but the way i know is you put 3 in each of the pits to start out and gather as you go along and drop into your own "goal" along the way until you drop one pebble in an empty pit But, you could also use 4,5 or sometimes even 2 pebbles to start out with in each pit. But something NOT to do is to add pebbles in that were not already in the games as you go along, that just makes the game almost unstoppable. Also something you most likely shouldn't do is to place the pebble in the other person's 'goal' because then it would give them a chance of winning more then you. hope this helped :) .
