The Rhinocerous are prey. Predators eat meat but rhinorcerous eat vegtables and fruit. I'm not saying if you see a rhinocerous go and pet it just cause it won't eat you. It is a very big creature and is scared easily.

Rhinos are large and can weigh up to 3100 pounds, so they have few natural enemies. Lions and other large wild cat are possible predators of rhino calves. Humans also pose a threat for black rhinos.

All species of Rhinoceros are herbivores and do not intentionally prey on other animals. Being short sighted and often bad tempered, they may charge if frightened or startled. Their large size make them fairly safe from becoming prey to lions and other carnivores. Their biggest threat comes from man, and the rhino is often being poached just for their horns (which is actually hair).

I would imagine that Rhinos are a predator, as if I was an animal, I wouldn't attempt to eat it as prey!
