as far as a new series is concerned, I'm not sure- but this is by far not the end of her writing career- it's only just begun. I'm not sure when, but Stephenie is definitely going to take on more of the twilight saga, either writing one of the books in another person's perspective like alices, or will go on to clear up what happens in the future with renesmee

Her next project is trying to finish the book Midnight Sun which is the book Twilight but from Edward's point of veiw. Stephenie has decided due to the illegal early release of the first 264 pages of Midnight Sun that she will no long work on it. She is either working on something with sirens/mermaids or continuing the Host series with The Soul and then the Seeker.

Her next book will be Midnight Sun; twilight from Edward's point of view and it will be a lot longer than twilight because Edward over-thinks everything and Stephanie Meyers thought to add in some stuff that goes on in the family that is interesting. I don't know when exactly her book is coming out or if it is coming out at all because she had the scam with the copyright and that was in 2008 and there is no more news on the matter. Stephanie Meyers has posted half of the unfinished version on her website but that was a long time ago though its still there. The last half is posted on scribd.com but I'm not sure if that is the real version.
