The polar bear is found in the Arctic Circle and the nearby islands. They can be found in good numbers in Alaska, Norway, Denmark, Russia and Canada. There are smaller populations in the surrounding regions near the Arctic pole. They prefer the Cold Icy areas of the Arctic and thrive in areas where the human intervention is minimal. They are found in good numbers in areas where their primary prey, the Seals mate and nest.

Terrestrial biomes refer to the major ecosystems found on land, such as forests, grasslands, and deserts, while aquatic biomes are the ecosystems found in water bodies, such as oceans, rivers, and lakes. Terrestrial biomes are characterized by factors like temperature, precipitation, and soil type, while aquatic biomes are influenced by factors like salinity, water depth, and water flow. Each biome supports unique plant and animal species adapted to its specific environmental conditions.

The Polar Bear.
Considering that polar bears include many aquatic animals much bigger than an emperor penguin it's safe to say that a polar bear would enjoy a quick snack of an emperor penguin if they ever met and the bear was at all hungry. Even a baby polar bear would be more than a match for even the biggest living penguin.
